Terms & Conditions – CALT Coffee

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, services, and use of the website caltcoffee.com, operated by CALT Coffee (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded via our website.
Any deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.


3. Products

  • All coffee products are described as accurately as possible.

  • Images are illustrative; minor differences may occur due to natural product variation.

  • Coffee is a natural product — taste, color, and aroma may vary per batch.


4. Prices

  • All prices are shown in EUR, including VAT, unless stated otherwise.

  • Shipping costs are shown during checkout.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect already placed orders.


5. Orders & payments

  • Orders are completed once payment is successfully processed.

  • Payments are handled securely via Shopify-supported payment providers (e.g. iDEAL, credit card).

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud or incorrect information.


6. Delivery

  • We aim to ship orders within 1–3 business days, unless stated otherwise.

  • Delivery times are indicative and not legally binding.

  • CALT Coffee is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.


7. Right of withdrawal (returns)

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order.

Exception:
Due to hygiene and food safety regulations, opened coffee products cannot be returned.

To exercise your right of withdrawal:

  • Contact us via email before returning any item.

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error.


8. Complaints

If you have a complaint:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Include your order number and a clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 48 hours.


9. Liability

  • CALT Coffee is not liable for indirect damages, including loss of profit.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by Dutch law.


10. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Transport delays

  • Natural disasters

  • Government measures


11. Intellectual property

All content on this website (texts, images, branding, logos) is the property of CALT Coffee.
Use without written permission is strictly prohibited.


12. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Dutch and EU legislation (GDPR).


13. Applicable law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Netherlands.
